Our modern rustic Smithy bench is the perfect mix of new and old. With box steel legs and a reclaimed wood top, you get style with bags of character.
The square shape of the Smithy Bench legs provides a simple silhouette. You can choose from either black powder-coated or clear-coated steel.
Our reclaimed and repurposed tops are what make our furniture stand out. You’ll find a variety of features that vary from bench to bench. These may be from their previous life or simply the natural grain and pattern in the wood. We enhance these features and will never send out an item we wouldn’t want ourselves.
Our Smithy benches match perfectly with our Smithy table. It also works perfectly on its own for hallways, conservatories, and/or boot rooms.
All of our solid wood top benches are built to order with an emphasis on sustainability. Our reclaimed or repurposed wood used for our modern rustic bench tops come from a variety of sources and is all found in the UK.
You’ll find a variety of features that vary from bench to bench, these may be from their previous life or simply the natural grain and pattern in the wood. We enhance these features and will never send out a table we wouldn’t want ourselves. They look and feel like real wood and are fit for everyday use.

DIMENSIONS
Available in lengths between 80cm(for 4ft tables) and 290cm (for 11ft tables).
To match with our Smithy table please select a length 40cm shorter. This length will ensure the bench will tuck between the table legs.
If you are looking for a specific size that is not listed then see our ‘Bespoke’ page for more details.
Standard depth: 35cm
Standard height: 45cm
Benchtop thickness: 3-3.5cm
The bench legs on the Smithy bench are detachable and will be delivered with the legs removed. Fixings are provided.

Choose from one of three finishes for your bench top (Natural, Light Antique, and Dark Antique) and your preferred plank style (Clean and Uniform planks, Somewhere in the Middle, and Rustic Planks with Character).
If you purchased your table separately, or a while ago, then do send us a photo of your table so we can do our best to match your bench as close as possible.
