Every table we make is built to order, so a bespoke piece is not a special service here — it is how the workshop already works. If you need a length we do not list, a colour we do not stock, or something we have never built before, tell us what you have in mind and we will quote it.
Sizes made to your room
Most of our dining tables run from 3ft (90cm) to 11ft (330cm) as standard, at a standard width of 90cm. Wider tops are available on many designs — 108cm with an extra plank, and 126cm with two on our farmhouse and plank-top ranges. The width options for each table are listed on its own page. When none of them is right, we build to your measurements.
If your ideal length falls between two standard sizes, order the next size up and give us the exact dimensions in your order notes. There is no extra charge for a shorter length, and a small charge applies for a custom width. For safe handling, our longest 300cm and 330cm tables are limited to widths between 84cm and 105cm.

Finishes and colours
Every top is finished by hand in the workshop. You choose the top tone — Natural, Light Antique or Dark Antique — the board character, from clean uniform planks through to rustic boards with knots and movement, and the edge profile, traditional or rounded.
Bases are painted in around 18 Farrow & Ball–matched colours, from Wevet and Pointing through to Hague Blue and Railings. If none of them is right, choose Custom Colour and we will match almost any publicly available paint. Timber
Our pieces are made from sustainably sourced solid timber. Alongside our rustic dining tables, we build in solid oak — see the oak dining tables — and the two can be combined, as they are on the Oak Pine Table, where an oak top sits on pine legs you can have painted any colour.
Grain, colour and movement vary from board to board. That is the nature of solid wood, and we work with it rather than hide it.
Beyond the dining table
Kitchen islands, console tables, coffee tables, desks, a bench to fit an awkward corner — if it is made of solid timber, we would like to build it. Our dining benches and table and bench sets can be sized to match a bespoke table, so the pieces work together from the start.
How a bespoke order works
- Tell us what you need. Send your dimensions, or just a rough idea, along with any sketches or inspiration photos.
- We quote it. You get a personalised price and confirmation of what is possible.
- You order. Online, or by phone if you would rather talk it through first.
- We build it. Standard lead time is approximately six weeks. A fast-track service is available on many pieces for an additional charge — ask before ordering.
- We deliver. Free in England, with a surcharge for Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland shown at checkout. See our delivery information.
