Delivery Information

Each piece is handcrafted to order in our British workshop. Here is what to expect from order to doorstep.

Lead time

Standard lead time is approximately 6 weeks from the date your order is placed. Bespoke specifications or busy periods (autumn, pre-Christmas) may extend this; we will confirm a firm delivery window by email once your piece enters production.

Standard delivery

Cost: Free in England. Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland carry a delivery charge based on your postcode (see below).
Service: Delivery is by one person. Please arrange for someone to help move your piece into position, as our driver cannot carry it alone. We will not leave the item with neighbours or unattended.
Booking: We contact you to agree a delivery slot once the piece is finished.
Access: Please measure doorways, stairwells and lifts before ordering. If access is impossible on the day, a redelivery fee may apply.

Two-person delivery

If you would rather not lift the piece yourself, choose two-person delivery at checkout for an extra £80.00. A two-person team carries your piece into the room of your choice and unpacks it there.

Delivery charges by area

The charge is worked out from your postcode and shown at checkout before you pay.

England — Free. All English postcodes.
Wales — £55.00. CF, LD, LL, NP, SA, plus the Welsh districts of SY (SY15–SY25) and CH (CH5–CH8).
Scotland, mainland — £55.00. AB, DD, DG, EH, FK, G, KA (except KA27–28), KY, ML, PA1–PA19, PH1–PH16, TD.
Scottish Highlands & Islands — £90.00. HS, IV, KW, ZE, KA27–28, PA20 and above, PH17 and above.
Northern Ireland — £110.00. All BT postcodes.

If your postcode sits on the England–Wales border (SY10, CH4, HR3, HR5), please pick the correct region at checkout — we price the delivery from the region you choose.

We deliver within mainland Britain and Northern Ireland only. We do not deliver directly to the Isle of Man (IM), the Channel Islands (GY, JE), the Isles of Scilly (TR21–TR25), the Republic of Ireland, or any address outside the United Kingdom.

Customers outside the UK are welcome to order: please arrange your own freight forwarder or shipping company, and we will deliver your piece free of charge to a UK mainland port or forwarder of your choosing. Contact us at info@therustictablecompany.uk before ordering so we can coordinate the handover.

Click & Collect

You are welcome to collect your piece from our workshop free of charge. We will email you when the piece is ready and arrange a collection slot. Bring help to lift the piece, particularly for tables and benches.

Damage in transit

Please inspect your delivery before the driver leaves. If you notice damage to the packaging or the item, sign for it as "damaged" and contact us within 48 hours at info@therustictablecompany.uk. We will arrange repair or replacement at no cost to you.

Delays

Working with solid timber, occasional delays happen (e.g. a board failing inspection). We will keep you informed and, where a delay is significant, you may cancel and receive a full refund in line with the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
